Subscape

Subscape is the electronic dance music producer and performer Anthony Peters from Woking, Surrey, in the United Kingdom. He works in bassline, dance, drum and bass, drumstep, dub and dubstep.

Early background

He grows up listening to drum and bass, jungle and garage, which helps shape his approach to bass-heavy music. He starts making music with his first decks at fifteen and the Logic music program, and continues to develop his production skills from there.

Recordings and releases

Subscape’s early productions appear on Caspa’s Dub Police label. His first release comes in 2008, and his most notable release is the Universal EP, which includes the track “Turn Me On”. His discography also includes releases on Dub Police, Subway, SubSoldiers, UKF Dubstep and Deadbeats.

Live work and reputation

He tours internationally as a live performer and becomes a regular at the Dub Police Fabric London residency. He also plays at clubs and festivals across Europe and undertakes multiple North American tours, building a reputation within the worldwide dubstep scene.
