Style of Eye

Style of Eye is the electronic project of Linus Eklow, a Stockholm-born artist active from the early 1990s. His work sits across house and techno, with associated styles including dance, deep house, deep tech, dubstep, EDM and electronica.

Early work and first releases

Eklow starts developing Style of Eye in a studio in northern Sweden in the early 1990s. His first release is Right Now!, issued on Derrick Carter’s Classic Music Company. The track draws attention from dance press and tastemakers and helps establish his name within the house and techno scene.

Breakthrough and club support

Subsequent releases including Gioco, H-bomb and We Got You bring Style of Eye to wider attention on dancefloors internationally. These records are played by artists including Tiefschwarz, John Dahlback, Claude VonStroke, Tiga and Laurent Garnier.

Later plans and recording activity

His output also includes an EP on Dirtybird, a mix compilation for Om Records, and further EPs on Pickadoll. He also prepares a first artist album for Pickadoll Records.
