Stuart O'Connor

Stuart O'Connor is an Irish singer-songwriter from Glenageary, Ireland, born in 1966 and active until his death in 2023. His music spans alternative rock, Celtic, folk, folk rock, pop and pop rock.

Career

He becomes a full-time musician in May 2006 and releases his first album, Autonomous Debut, on Late Bus Records later that year. By the end of 2006, he has played more than 200 shows. He begins 2007 with a two-month tour of New Zealand and Australia, playing 52 shows, and then supports Ocean Colour Scene before touring the UK again.

Other projects

Alongside solo work, O'Connor fronts the progressive rock trio My Pet Junkie and organises a collective called Midnight Moth. My Pet Junkie release one album, When You're Not Busy, on Riverrun Records. Midnight Moth release their fourth album, One Hour in a Room, through Late Bus Records.
