Stratus is the name used by several acts, including a drum and bass producer from the United States and a number of bands in other genres. The drum and bass artist is D. Lewis, who is based in San Diego, California and has been making records since 1997, with releases on Subtitles, Human and Argon. Another Stratus is Patrick Stratton from Chicago, Illinois, USA, who uses the name Stratusbass and maintains a web presence under that alias.

Other acts using the name include an English duo, Mat Anthony and Martin Jenkins, whose music draws on warped soundtracks, fuzzed-out psychedelia, analogue textures, pastoral electronics, balearic oddities and string-led cosmic rock; a jazz fusion band from Houston, Texas, formed by guitarist Paul Chester and keyboardist Ted Wenglinski and active across four albums; a heavy metal band that releases one album, Throwing Shapes, in 1984; a Serbian hard rock band formed in 2002 by guitarists Darko Konstantinoviċ and Saša Jankoviċ; and a Croatian punk band active in the 1990s.
