Strandels is a Swedish pop duo from Stockholm, made up of siblings Tova Strandell and Sixten Strandell. Active since 2016, the pair sing together and build their music around sibling harmonies.

Tova and Sixten have been performing together for as long as they can remember. They begin developing their own sound when they are 11 and 13, after hearing James Morrison’s “Broken Strings” on repeat at home, which leads them to focus on harmonies. After their first gig, they sing together more often and later work with a producer, which gives them what they describe as a turning point in deciding to pursue music seriously.

The duo then sign to TEN Music Group, a label associated with artists including Zara Larsson, Elliphant, Icona Pop and Erik Hassle. They work in the studio on new material as Strandels.
