Stormcast

Stormcast is an atmospheric and melodic black metal group formed in 2007 in Nicosia. The band starts as a jamming session, first playing covers of other bands before moving on to original material and developing its own sound.

After performing live with other local bands and writing more songs, Stormcast release a four-track promo CD called Scorched Earth. The recording sells more than 100 copies locally. In winter 2008, the group goes through a small lineup change and continues writing new material while exploring its musical influences.

The band remains active from 2007 to the present.
