Line-up

Legacy and influence

Although Stone has a relatively short recording history, it is cited as an influence on many metal bands that emerge during the 1990s. Among the best-known of those is Children of Bodom, whose guitarist Alexi Laiho credits former Stone member Roope Latvala as a major influence on his playing. Latvala also plays in Sinergy and Children of Bodom, while Janne Joutsenniemi later appears in Suburban Tribe. Pekka Kasari later performs in Amorphis and Ajattara, and is currently in Pahuuden prototyyppi.
