Stolen Earth

Stolen Earth is a UK crossover prog group from York, active since 2011. The band forms around four members of the short-lived final line-up of the York progressive rock band Breathing Space, together with the long-standing rhythm section of Paul Teasdale and Barry Cassells. The group’s line-up also includes vocalist Heidi Widdop, who appears in an early line-up of Mostly Autumn, guitarist Adam Dawson and keyboard player John Sykes.

Background

The band makes its first live appearance at the 2011 Cambridge Rock Festival. It also supports acts including Curved Air and Focus.

Recording

Stolen Earth releases its debut album, A Far Cry From Home, in 2012.

Line-up

Heidi Widdop performs vocals, guitar and low whistle. Paul Teasdale plays bass, Adam Dawson plays guitar and vocals, Barry Cassells plays drums, and John Sykes plays keyboards.
