Stinkahbell
Stinkahbell is a dubstep group from the United Kingdom. It begins in the early 2000s, during the first wave of dubstep, and is formed around DJ and producer Nutty P, also known as Anton Flanders, and MC Janset, also known as Janset Sayer.
The duo tours internationally and performs at festivals including Glastonbury and The Big Chill. It reaches the top 10 of the electronic charts and receives support from artists including Skream, Benga, Plastician, Joker, Rusko, Doctor P and P Money. The group disbands in 2012, after which Stinkahbell continues with Nutty P in a solo form.
Stinkahbell works across dubstep while drawing on Nutty P’s background in grime, hip hop and alt R&B. It appears at venues including Fabric, Ministry of Sound and Fire, holds a residency at Patterns, and features on BBC Radio 1, 1Xtra and Kiss FM. It is also part of Shiverz’s Monsters crew and has international touring experience in the US, Europe and Asia.
Its better-known tracks include Don’t Slip, Running Amuck and The Monsters Anthem. The project also receives support from Getter, Styn, Dubloadz, Dack Janiels, Deep Tempo and Enigma Dubz.
