Stimming is the recording name of Martin Stimming, a German DJ and producer from Giessen, born in 1983. He works mainly in electronic music, with his output associated with minimal, tech house, minimal techno, techno and house.

Career

He records largely for the Hamburg-based Diynamic imprint. In 2008 he works with Einmusik on the Mesdames EP, which includes the track Madleine, and he appears with H.O.S.H. on the Trilogy EP, from which Radar is taken. That same year he releases Una Pena, which samples the Chilean folk singer Violeta Parra.

Releases and collaborations

His later releases include Kleine Nachtmusik EP in 2008, Gaensebluemchen in 2009 and Cheesecake in 2011, both on Joris Voorn’s Green label. He also collaborates with Ben Watt on Bright Star in 2010, released on Watt’s Buzzin’ Fly label.
