Still Corners

Still Corners is a US/British dream pop band from London, active since 2007. The group is a duo made up of Greg Hughes and Tessa Murray, with Hughes credited as a multi-instrumentalist and producer and Murray on vocals.

The band also performs live with Leon Dufficy on guitar and Luke Jarvis on bass. Jack Gooderham joins the live line-up on drums.

Still Corners build a profile through a run of early singles and releases, including the Don’t Fall In Love/Wish 7-inch on the Great Pop Supplement label, the track Endless Summer, and Greg Hughes’s self-released EP Remember Pepper?. The group’s debut album, Creatures of an Hour, appears on Sub Pop, followed by Strange Pleasures, also on Sub Pop.

Their music sits within dream pop and indie pop, with associated elements of neo-psychedelia, new wave, pop and synth-pop.
