Stewart Mac is a singer-songwriter from London, England. He writes pop and acoustic material and plays guitar, which remains central to his songs.
Background and songwriting
He starts writing songs and playing guitar at about 15, then develops his sound through a long period of changing musical tastes and styles. He writes his material in his room on acoustic guitar, with the melodies and arrangements built from those शुरुआती ideas.
Recording and releases
His producer is David Brant, and the two work together on his solo material. Stewart Mac begins working with Brant in 2006, and the pair finish his album in late 2007. The album is released independently in the UK.
Performances and international release
He supports Bon Jovi at Twickenham Stadium, and his album later receives a release in Asia through Gold Typhoon Records. His first single for that market is an English-language cover of “I Love You”, a song originally a Mandarin hit for David Tao.
