Steve Thomas
Steve Thomas is a musician from the United States and the original drummer for Shooting Star. He is also associated with jazz, electronic music and nrg.
Work in the 1990s
In the 1990s, Thomas works on a number of collaborations with other musicians. His most notable partnership is with Steve Jolliffe, formerly of Tangerine Dream, with whom he produces the albums Zanzi and Temmenu.
A project titled More People Have Been To The Moon begins around 1994 and takes nearly two years to complete. Thomas then works with cave diver and cameraman Gavin Newman on the cover artwork, and the album is released on his own label, Heliotrinox Records, in 1997.
Personal life
Thomas is married to Michaela and has two sons, Jamie and Robbie. They live in Wales.
