Stereotype

Stereotype is a name used by several electronic music acts: a Ukrainian drum and bass producer, an Italian hardcore producer, and an Israeli bass duo from Tel Aviv.

Ukrainian drum and bass producer

Ermak Gordey, also known as Stereotype, is a Ukrainian drum and bass producer born in 1989 in Chernigov, Ukraine. From 2009 onward, his sound moves towards deep and minimal drum and bass. In 2009 he also forms the project Science Fiction with Moscow neurofunk producer Paperclip. His work receives support from labels, producers and DJs around the world.

Italian hardcore producer

Manuel Bernardelli, born on 14 September 1981, works as an Italian hardcore and psycore producer under the name Stereotype. He joins Noize Records, following in the path of his mentor Noize Suppressor. He is associated with releases including Rolling Thunder, Kick It and the March to the Drums EP. His style combines psy-trance-influenced drops with hardcore sounds. He is also a member of Noize Bangerz.

Israeli bass duo

Stereotype is also an Israeli electronic duo made up of Adam and Leon from Tel Aviv. The pair meet for the first time in a local McDonalds in 2014 and begin working together there, leading to their first record. The project continues with releases including a remix for Odeza and the track Tokyo, which attracts attention from The Chainsmokers.
