Step-Panther

Step-Panther are an Australian garage rock band based in Sydney, New South Wales. The group forms in 2009 and remains active. Its line-up changes repeatedly over time, with vocalist and guitarist Steve Burke, also credited as Steve “Stevsie” Burke, as the only original member. The current line-up also includes bassist Zach Stephenson of Hockey Dad and drummer Daniel Radburn of Nuns.

Releases

The band’s first EP, Surf, appears in 2010. The following year it releases a self-titled debut album, produced by Simon “Berkfinger” Berkcelman of Philadelphia Grand Jury. In 2013 the group issues the four-track EP Dreamcrusher. Its second album, Strange But Nice, comes out in 2014 through HUB/Inertia and is recorded and produced by Tom Iansek of Big Scary and #1 Dads.
