Steadlur

Steadlur is a US glam metal and hard rock group that forms in 2004 and remains active. The band is made up of brothers Philip Steadlur and Dallas Steadlur, joined by longtime friends Daniel Steadlur and Tommy Steadlur. Philip plays guitar and lead vocals, Dallas handles drums and vocals, Daniel plays bass and vocals, and Tommy plays lead guitar and vocals.

The group is based around an Atlanta, Georgia lineup and describes its early years as a period of line-up changes and a hard-lived local circuit, including periods of living out of cars and playing in the city’s underground rock scene. Its sound draws on classic hard rock and glam metal influences, with references to Guns N’ Roses, Mötley Crüe, Foo Fighters and KISS. Steadlur is known for an anthem-driven style with melodic hooks and a raw rock-and-roll approach.

The band presents itself as a four-piece that plays hard-edged rock with a party-heavy image, and its own descriptions emphasise the louder, more chaotic side of its live performance.
