Static

Static is a name used by several different acts. One is an alias of Todd Terry. Another is the name used by Hanno Leichtmann, a German electronic music producer, drummer and label owner, whose releases appear on City Centre Offices, Mermaid, Audio.nl and Karaoke Kalk. A third is an Israeli rapper and singer, formerly one half of Static & Ben El.

The name is also associated with an early 1980s hard rock and NWOBHM group.
