Static Kill

Static Kill is a US thrash metal band from Old Bridge Township, New Jersey, active since 1980 and fronted by Bobby “Blitz” Ellsworth. The group is associated with groove metal, metal, speed metal and thrash metal. Its line-up includes Dan Spitz, Rat Skates, Bobby “Blitz” Ellsworth, D.D. Verni, Bobby Gustafson, Sid Falck, Rob Cannavino, Merritt Gant, Tim Mallare, Joe Comeau, Sebastian Marino, Dave Linsk, Derek Tailer and Ron Lipnicki.

The name is also used in material describing a separate project formed by singer, songwriter, guitarist and drummer Michael O. Michaels. That account says his earlier band was produced by Toby Wright, whose credits include Alice in Chains, Korn, Sevendust, Ozzie, Primus, Tantric and 3 Doors Down, and that Static Kill is endorsed by Orange Amplification.
