State of Undress

State of Undress are a Dorset-based band playing roots-influenced rock with a strong fiddle-led sound. They are built around husband-and-wife duo Charlie Rose, who sings, and Alan Rose, who plays guitar. The line-up also includes Samantha Jane on fiddle, Malcolm Windett on bass and Keith Fletcher on drums.

The group’s songs range from reflective, evocative material to straightforward danceable numbers. Their current line-up has been in place for just over three years. They tour in the UK and release a mini-album titled Livin' it, Lovin' it!, which is named album of the week on BBC Radio Somerset’s Emma Britton Morning Show. The band are also associated with an annual Christmas show in Christchurch, their home town, at The Regent Centre.
