Starscreen

Starscreen are a rock band from Nottinghamshire. The group forms around lead guitarist Neal Davis, lead singer Daz McNevin, and bass player Scott Price, who meet through a friend at college after knowing each other from a young age. After losing their drummer in 2005, they find John Kidger through an advertisement and continue as Starscreen Mark2.

The band draws on influences from Led Zeppelin, U2, Pearl Jam, The Doors and Roxy Music. Their music is described as energetic rock with a melodic edge, with varied guitar lines, a groove-led rhythm section, thoughtful lyrics and memorable melodies. The four members share an equal role in the band, which contributes to its unified sound.
