Standard Procedure

Standard Procedure is a duo of producers, DJs and musicians from the south of the UK, making dubstep, drum and bass, electro and hip-hop. The act consists of DJ Natty and Dirty Harrison.

Members

DJ Natty mixes drum and bass and dubstep and holds a residency at HeadSpun drum and bass events. He also has experience mixing drum and bass on West London’s Life FM. In addition, he has six years of experience playing drums, percussion and guitar with various bands and artists, and studies music technology at FCOT. He produces dubstep and drum and bass and forms the duo with Harrison Brewer.

Harrison Brewer, known as Dirty Harrison, begins his music career in 2006. He spends nearly five years creating, recording and engineering music, and studies music technology for two years at Basingstoke College of Technology, where his music career starts. He develops skills in music production, editing, recording and engineering, and receives the college’s “most promising graduate” award as well as a national diploma. He then studies creative music production at the Academy of Contemporary Music in Guildford for two years while working with DJ Natty on mainly dubstep and drum and bass.

Work and production

Standard Procedure works across remixes, collaborations, syncing music to film and music production. The duo is known for tight DJ mixes and bass-heavy tracks. Their partnership grows out of Natty’s work with Harrison Brewer, after which Standard Procedure is formed.
