Stand Atlantic

Stand Atlantic is a pop punk band from Sydney, Australia. The group is active from 2015 and features Bonnie Fraser on vocals and guitar, David Potter on guitar, Miki Rich on bass, Jonno Panichi on drums, and also includes Jordan Jansons and Arthur Ng among its listed members.

History

The band begins under the name What It's Worth before changing to Stand Atlantic in 2014. Its early line-up includes Fraser, Potter, bassist Miki Rich and drummer Jonno Panichi, with Arthur Ng and Jordan Jansons also part of the project at different points.

Stand Atlantic gains notice in the Australian music scene through the demo EPs Catalyst and A Place Apart. In 2017 the band signs to Rude Records and issues the single “Coffee at Midnight”, followed by the EP Sidewinder. In 2018 it signs to Hopeless Records and releases its debut album Skinny Dipping.

Albums and releases

The band’s second album, Pink Elephant, appears in 2020, and its third album, F.E.A.R., follows in 2022. Alongside these albums, Stand Atlantic’s recorded output includes the early demo EPs, the 2017 single “Coffee at Midnight”, and Sidewinder.
