Spotlight Kid is a Nottingham group formed by six.by seven member Chris Davis. The line-up includes Katty Heath, Rob McCleary, Chris Moore, Chris Davis, Matt Holt, Karl Skivington and Richard Davidson.

The group’s sound combines dream pop with heavily delayed, fuzzed-out guitars, and is associated with shoegaze, noise pop, psychedelic rock and indie. Its style is compared with early Creation-era bands such as Swervedriver, My Bloody Valentine and Slowdive.
