Spafford Campbell is a British folk duo made up of Owen Spafford on fiddle and Louis Campbell on guitar. The pair meet as teenagers in the first cohort of the National Youth Folk Ensemble, and they form the duo in 2018.

Career

Since forming, Spafford Campbell support Martin Hayes at EartH in London and at Band on the Wall in Manchester, and they also support Mammal Hands at the Barbican in London. They receive a nomination for the BBC Young Folk Award.

Releases

The duo release their debut album, You, Golden, which receives five-star reviews. They also have national airplay on BBC Radio 2, BBC Radio 3, BBC Radio 4 and BBC Radio 6, as well as on RTÉ 1 in Ireland and BBC Scotland. Their EP 102 Metres East is released on Peter Gabriel’s Real World X.
