Soulvation

Soulvation is a Dutch dance act from the Netherlands. It is a musical collective created by Ronald Molendijk and Jeroen Rietbergen, with the help of many guest musicians. The act includes Caroline Dest.

Style and performance

Soulvation works across dance, pop and jazz, and presents music that combines live performance with electronic elements. Its live set-up includes bass, guitar, keyboards, vocalists, computer and turntables, with the group aiming to bring dance music to the live stage. The sound is described through its blend of smooth, stylish, sexy and uplifting qualities, and the live show builds in energy as the musicians, singers and DJ move into a groove-driven performance.

Members and creators

Ronald Molendijk is a DJ, producer and songwriter. Jeroen Rietbergen is a musician, songwriter and producer who has worked with live and studio musicians in the Netherlands. The group’s line-up also includes Caroline Dest, and it uses guest musicians as part of its collective format.
