Calling their music "otaku rock", Soul Candy formed in Seattle, WA in 2008 as an anime-theme cover band performing at conventions in the Pacific Northwest. A year later, they released a self-titled and self-produced EP disc of original songs as well. Their influences include music of the '70s, '80s, '90s, and Asian pop.
