Soul Candy

Soul Candy is a Seattle, Washington band formed in 2008. The group describes its music as “otaku rock” and begins as an anime-theme cover band playing at conventions in the Pacific Northwest. A year after forming, it releases a self-titled, self-produced EP of original songs.

Members

The line-up includes Christabelle Binag on lead vocals, Carlos Pardo on lead guitar and second vocals, Josh Granadosin on bass, and Isaac Granadosin on drums.

Style and influences

The band’s sound draws on music from the 1970s, 1980s and 1990s, as well as Asian pop.
