Sorcerer

Sorcerer is a Swedish metal group from Stockholm that plays doom metal, epic doom metal, heavy metal and metal. It forms in 1988 and remains active.

History

The band is one of the earliest heavier metal acts from Sweden. It begins as a doom metal group in 1984, but it does not record its first demo until 1988. A second demo follows in 1992. A full-length CD appears in 1995 and uses a number of tracks from the 1992 demo. In early 2004, the band releases a vinyl edition featuring the Inquisitor demo and two bonus tracks, limited to 700 copies.
