Son Of Stan is the solo project of Jordan Richardson, a Los Angeles-based musician from Texas. On the project’s recordings, Richardson plays all of the instruments himself. He is also known for his earlier work as a drummer with Ben Harper and Ringo Starr.

Richardson wins a Grammy in the Best Blues Album category for Get Up by Ben Harper and Charlie Musselwhite, where he co-produces and plays drums. Son Of Stan begins around two years before the release of Divorce Pop, an album that comes out in 2013. The project works in an electropop and dance-oriented style.
