Son of Man

Son of Man is a Brooklyn-based hardcore, punk and metal project. It is described as a bedroom project from Los Angeles, California and is heavily influenced by Integrity, Converge and Buried Alive.

The name also refers to other acts, including a project formed in April 2002 from four earlier musical projects that had not developed further. That version of the group says it is made up of three Mexicans and one white member, and that it aims to make music that moves between aggression and emotion.

Another Son of Man is a Welsh band formed by former MAN members George Jones, who plays guitar, and Bob Richards, who plays drums. That group forms after the death of Micky Jones, George Jones’s father and a founder of MAN, and begins as a tribute project at concerts in his memory. It later develops into a recording band and releases one album in October 2016.
