Son of a Gun starts as a one-man project formed to stave off summer boredom, then grows into a four-piece punk band playing fast, simple, catchy songs. The group works in garage rock, punk, indie and lo-fi styles, and it releases a large amount of music in a short period. It also has a Bandcamp presence and issues material on Why Pick On Me?, including the cassette Take EP. Son of a Gun also appears as a KMFDM remixer.
