Som is an independent artist of Indian descent based in Southern California. The project works at the intersection of classical and modern electronic music, combining ragas, strings, drums, gamelan, kulintang passages and digitally filtered electronic sounds. It is presented as an unsigned act and is described as an artist who lives and works at the Pacific gateway between East and West.
