Sofi is a Japanese lyricist, singer, dancer and actor known for her work with electronic and pop artists. She is the voice on deadmau5 tracks “Sofi Needs A Ladder” and “One Trick Pony,” both from the album 4x4=12 on Ultra Music.

She has co-choreographed Avril Lavigne’s “Girlfriend,” described as Lavigne’s most viewed YouTube video, and later works on Lavigne’s world tour as a co-choreographer, singer and dancer. Her other collaborations include Fall Out Boy, will.i.am, Butch Walker, The Von Bondies, Tommy Lee and Nelly Furtado.

Sofi also appears on television and award shows internationally. She tours as a backing singer for Britney Spears on the Circus 2009 World Tour, and later joins Mötley Crüe on Crüe Fest 2.

She is based in Los Angeles and is associated with the Mau5trap label. Her stage name is expanded as SomeOtherFemaleinterest.
