Snowblind
Snowblind is a name used by several different groups. One version is a Manchester-based indie-pop duo made up of Paul Williams and Jane Murphy. They sign to Heavenly Records, record a debut single and album while on the label, but leave before the album is released. They later issue The Falls on Indipendiente in 2002 and do not release a follow-up.
Another Snowblind is a power-metal band from Greece, formed in 1999. Its line-up includes George Agelopoulos on bass, Jim Agelopoulos on guitar, Mike Galiatsos on vocals and guitar, and G.K. (George Karahalios) on drums. This group releases several albums after forming.
A third Snowblind is a 1970s-style hard rock band from Mississippi. It releases one full-length album in 1999 and features Michael Davis on vocals, Kirk Jonston on guitar, Nathan De Los Santos on bass, and Dustin Schoen on drums.
Other groups using the name include an early 1990s band from Melbourne, Australia, whose main songwriter Patrick Robertson later joins Motor Ace; a Swedish trallpunk band active in the early 2000s; and a Polish rock and metal band formed in 2015 that releases the debut album Słaby in 2024.
