Snips is the stage name of Steve Parsons, a UK singer associated with hard rock and progressive rock. He first appears as a former member of Sharks, a band from the 1970s.
Solo work
In 1978 he releases Video King on Jet. Two years later he works again with former Sharks guitarist Chris Spedding and with Be Bop Deluxe leader Bill Nelson on La Rocca, an album issued by EMI in 1981. Spedding produces the album, while the single “Nine O’Clock” is produced by Midge Ure of Ultravox.
Sharks
Snips is linked to Sharks in two periods: first as a former member of the original band, and later when the group reunites in 1994 to record Like A Black Van Parked On A Dark Curve, issued by Angel Air.
