Smokey Joe is the recording name of UK jungle and drum and bass producer Joe Brodie, originally from London, United Kingdom. He is active from the 1990s onwards and has been involved in music for a long time, with some early work dating to 1992. From 1994 onwards, he issues a larger run of releases and develops a strong underground following.

His tracks appear on compilations, including the Jungle Massive series. He continues to release material, though less frequently than in the 1990s. The name is also used by other acts, including a German ska group and a dancehall artist associated with Bun Gem Records and 1980s digital dancehall style.
