Smitten

Smitten is a rock band from Buenos Aires, Argentina, active since 1994. It begins as a project between two friends, Paulo Funes Lorea, known as Chuk, and Patricio Esteban Castelao, known as Patrick Steve, who start out playing cover versions on acoustic guitars.

As the group develops, several friends join them, including Ariel Roman, Nicolás Garoni and Pablo Molla. This line-up also performs under the name The Nerds for some shows in their hometown. The band is associated with indie rock, and is also tagged with rock, Rock Argentino, shoegaze and pop punk.
