Slugabed

Slugabed is the recording name of Greg Feldwick, an electronic producer from Bath, UK. His work sits across wonky, dubstep, electronic, glitch and hip-hop, and it is described as combining humour, detailed production, dancefloor sensibility and melancholic feeling.

His earliest releases appear on Stuffrecords and Ramp Recordings, before he moves on to Planet Mu and then signs to Ninja Tune. He uses synthesisers and drum machines as the main tools for his recordings.

One of his albums, Time Team, is noted for its blend of warmth and humour as well as its emotional tone, and Feldwick describes it as dealing with deep feelings about things that are mostly hard to express.
