Slow Motion Cowboys

Slow Motion Cowboys is the country project of songwriter Pete Fields. Based in the New Orleans country scene, Fields and his band perform regularly for audiences in southern Louisiana and elsewhere, combining an uptempo backing sound with lyrics shaped by contemporary life.

Background

The group has roots in California, New Mexico and Texas, and works stages across the South and Southwest. It builds its following through releases on Arkam Records, a label based in Muscle Shoals.
