Slaughter To Prevail

Slaughter To Prevail is a Russian deathcore group from Yekaterinburg, Sverdlovskaya oblast'. Active since 2014, it is associated with death metal, deathcore and nu metal. The group is fronted by Alex Terrible and also includes Jack Simmons on lead guitar.

History

The band forms in Yekaterinburg in 2014 and later bases itself in Orlando, Florida. It debuts with the EP Chapters of Misery in 2015, then releases its first full-length album, Misery Sermon, in 2017. A second album, Kostolom, follows in 2021. The group also releases Live In Moscow in 2023 and Grizzly in 2025.

Line-up and membership

Current members include Aleksandr Shikolai, known as Alex Terrible, on lead vocals, and Jack Simmons on lead guitar. Other current members are Mikhail Petrov on bass guitar, Evgeny Novikov on drums, and Dmitry Mamedov on rhythm guitar. Past members listed include Anton Poddyachy on drums, Maxim Zadorin on guitar, Slava Antonenko on guitar, and Filipp Kucheryavyh on bass.
