Slapjack

Slapjack is a Lithuanian R&B and pop act based in Lithuania. It presents itself as a three-piece around experienced studio producer Dalux, his colleague KC and singer Eglė Gerasimovaitė, with American writer Doug Cochran contributing lyrics. The project first attracts attention by keeping the identities of the people involved out of sight while several songs spread online by word of mouth.

Dalux is described as having produced a number of pop acts in Lithuania and Germany and as having written more than 1,000 songs. Slapjack begins building a reputation as a live act in 2006, and a debut album is in preparation. The group’s approach is framed around feel-good pop with an emphasis on fun.
