Skyhook

Skyhook is a Nashville-based group that performs indie, alternative rock, Christian rock, post-grunge and Christian hard rock. The band is made up of Dane Allen, Josh Giles, Seth Wharton, Andrew Gomez, Ben Miller and Evan Thon. It begins as a worship band and later develops its own rock sound, combining vocal harmonies, guitars and shifting song structures.

The group releases the EP Raise the Stars, which reaches number 10 on the iTunes Rock Chart and appears in the top 15 of Amazon downloads. Skyhook also gains notice through appearances at national festivals. Its songs place emphasis on lyrics and on themes of hope, change and faith, and the band performs both worship material and original songs.
