Skeletal Remains is a US death metal band from Whittier, California, active since 2011. The group begins under the name Anthropophagy before changing its name to Skeletal Remains, taking the new name from a line in Demolition Hammer’s “Human Dissection”.

The band plays death metal and is part of the American old school death metal and new wave of old school death metal scene. It has released five full-length studio albums.

There is also an unrelated Connecticut death/thrash metal band with the same name. That earlier group releases one demo, Legions of the Undead, in 1994 before splitting up.
