Skazi

Skazi is an Israeli psytrance and trance group active since 1998. The act consists of Asaf B-Bass and DJ Skazi, and releases music on Chemical Crew and Shaffel Records.

Formed from members with roots in punk and hardcore, Skazi develops a full-on psychedelic trance style that combines electronic production with live guitar riffs and heavy, driving sounds. The group’s early work establishes this approach and helps set it apart from more conventional trance acts.

Releases

Skazi’s first album, Animal, appears in 2000 and is followed by Storm in 2002 and Total Anarchy in 2006. Between 2001 and 2004, the group also issues three compilation albums. Its tracks appear on more than 40 albums and compilations distributed worldwide.

Performances

The group tours internationally and performs at large rave events to audiences of tens of thousands. Its live dates include appearances in Israel, Japan, Brazil, Mexico, Germany, Greece, South Africa, Switzerland, the Netherlands, Portugal, Australia, Russia, India, Spain, the UK, Bulgaria and Italy. Festival appearances include Fuji Rock Festival and The Gathering in Japan, and XXXperience in Brazil.
