Skamanians

Skamanians are a French ska group from France, working in ska and rocksteady. They perform both as a street fanfare and as a stage band, with brass playing central to their sound. Their music is rooted in ska and reggae traditions, and the group is associated with traditional ska and ska-jazz as well as instrumental performance. Their presentation and arrangement style emphasise brass-led playing and the street-band format as much as conventional stage performance.
