skaiwater is Tyler Brooks, a singer, rapper, producer, DJ and engineer from Nottingham. Working in rap, trap, Jersey club, hip-hop, cloud rap and dance, skaiwater makes music with a melodic and genre-crossing style. Brooks begins releasing music in late 2016 and has also used the names La Rica, Lil Austin and skaifantasy.

Career

skaiwater is best known for the Jersey club track #miles, which also appears in a remix featuring Lil Uzi Vert. The artist’s debut album, Happy Hour, arrives in 2021, followed by #gigi in 2024 and wonderful in 2026. wonderful is described as an alternative rage and R&B album.

Recognition

skaiwater reaches a large streaming audience and is reported to have around two million monthly listeners on Spotify. In 2025, skaiwater appears on the Rolling Loud lineup.
