SJ Esau is a Bristol-based experimental and indie musician. He is associated with folk-influenced, off-kilter pop and works under his own name.

He releases two albums on Anticon Records: Wrong Faced Cat Feed Collapse and Small Vessel. He also issues recordings on his own Enormous Corpse label and on other labels.

His catalogue includes two collections built around other artists’ interpretations of his songs: Stop Touching My Cat and More Touching, which gather remixes and cover versions by various artists.
