Sinnergod

Sinnergod are a five-piece goth rock and industrial metal group from Wigan, Greater Manchester, in the United Kingdom. Their sound mixes heavy metal riffs with electronic melodic harmonies, and they are also described as working across alternative rock, hard rock, metal and heavy metal.

Career and live work

The group forms in 2007 and remains active. They build an audience through support slots with acts including Eso, formerly Esoterica, The Defiled, Deathstars, and Sarah Jezebel Deva of Cradle of Filth. They also play at Bloodstock Open Air in 2007, where they appear on the Unsigned Stage.

Later live appearances include the Hard Rock Cafe Stage at the 106.1 Real Radio XS Mockfest: Donisphere Festival in Manchester, a special appearance at the Real XS Halloween Ball in Manchester with the Glitter Kittens Burlesque Dancers joining their set, and a live performance at Grand Central in Manchester with Blaze Bayley of Wolfsbane and ex-Iron Maiden as special guest. They are also listed for performances at Out Of The Ashes Festival in Cheshire, SOS Festival in Manchester, the Sophie Lancaster Fundraiser in Southampton, and Alt Fest.

Recordings

Sinnergod release four EPs: The Revolution, Two Thousand and Never, A World In Grey, and Behind Every Corner. Behind Every Corner includes the single It's A Wonderful Life. A World In Grey enters the Amazon.com Rock and Metal MP3 Download Chart at number four, behind Led Zeppelin, Iron Maiden and Paradise Lost.

The cover artwork for A World In Grey uses a 2003 image of the model Louise Amaryllis, photographed by Noel Taylor. The track list includes Jack and Monsters, both of which draw on themes linked to Jack the Ripper.
