Singe

History and lineup

The project first comes together as an idea in 1999, when frontman and lead vocalist Andy Qureshi begins pursuing music after travelling from North Carolina to California in search of a creative base. In Sacramento, Shawn Carrano introduces him to guitarist Rich Joslin, and the line-up later expands with Myke Paolieri on bass and lows and Shane Castleberry on drums and percussion. The group presents itself as built around pressing forward creatively and expanding the limits of its sound.
