Simian Frenzy is a bass music project formed by the duo behind the Ben & Lex Live! tour, after that run with Dub Pistols. The group centres on their interest in writing large beats, proper songs and heavy bass.

The core line-up includes Lydia Kaye on vocals and long-time live MC Jay Tuns, alongside the two principal members. The project also works with a range of guest artists, including UK hip hop figures Rodney P and Million Dan, reggae singer Earl 16, UK number one artist Lex One of Wizard Sleeve, Brian Breach, Ashley Slater of FreakPower, and Scarlett Quinn.

Simian Frenzy develops material that ranges from delicate songs to bass-heavy, festival-oriented tracks. Their live set is described as road-tested and geared towards a strong response from audiences.

The act is booked for festivals including Snowbombing in Austria, the Glade Stage at Glastonbury and Beautiful Days.
