Silver Coast

Silver Coast is an alternative rock band from the United Kingdom, formed in 2012 and active since then. The band’s lineup includes Michael Cappie, Aaron Murray, Jason Simpson and Andrew Thomas.

History

The band forms in Inverness, Scotland and begins by playing a series of local shows. It releases its debut EP, Seasons, in November 2015. After the departure of founding member Jason Simpson, the group develops a more pop-punk-oriented sound for Dreamers (Young at Heart), which appears in 2019.

Releases and lineup changes

Silver Coast follows this with a run of singles across 2020 to 2022, leading to its debut album, When The World Starts Falling, which is released in 2022. The band’s personnel changes again in 2023, when Michael Cappie, Andrew Thomas and Alasdair Mackintosh leave. Nathan Mackie joins on bass in 2024 after leaving Aklias.
